Girl with shiba inu
Hi, I’m Cindy, currently working on Edge @ Microsoft AI.

Previously, I was the founding product designer at Franklin where I designed and launched a suite of tools to enable Web3 companies to pay their employees in USD and cryptocurrencies. For 8 years I was at MillerKnoll, designing our everyday work environments by creating physical workplace experiences for clients through space planning, visualizations and design strategy. In my free time, I like to go on adventures with my dog, Taro.

  • “Can you personalize a product for 600 million users, using only an icon button? Cindy's end-to-end delivery of the Smart Switch for Microsoft Edge Business elevates the product experience with elegance, precision and empathy. Leveraging micro interactions for macro impact is an art form that engages with code, business and brand, simultaneously.

Cindy’s mastery of said form will soon bring a forwarding feature and texting capabilities to the Microsoft Teams Application. Balancing the highest standards for security alongside consistent market demand, she is able to validate product research and define rollout strategies across a range of disciplines. She is equally critical of existing UI patterns, constantly observing trends; internal and external to the industry. This habitually institutes invention and innovation.

As a design systems leader, I value this above all else, because it opens up candid communication regarding product excellence, all while creating example sets for adjacent feature pods to emulate.

Very few are able to leapfrog levels within the technology sector at this pace, but I believe Cindy’s humility, alongside her eagerness to absorb critical feedback are prized assets within her arsenal. While she has already taken global features to market, Cindy will only accelerate from here. I therefore wholeheartedly recommend her candidacy towards any product team that is eager to institute change against enterprise, e-commerce, web3, or other competitive landscapes.”

  • “I mentored Cindy while she was in the Microsoft Design Apprenticeship Program (LEAP). She quickly differentiated herself as an adept communicator. Early on she leveraged subject-matter-experts and worked with stakeholders across the organization to deliver high-quality work. She has consistently exceeded expectations and been eager to work on different problem spaces across the studio, all while being an active participant in apprenticeship events and meetings. It's impressive how much impact one apprentice has had in such a short amount of time.

Personally, I love working with Cindy. Her great personality and reliability are unmatched. I'd welcome the opportunity to work with her for years to come!”

Cindy works well with both internal and external clients as she develops designs that solve for workplace opportunities. Having had the pleasure to work with her, I can confidently recommend her as an excellent designer and teammate.”
